WE ARE A LIVE AND VIBRANT PARISH

Don't bury the talents you've been blessed with Matthew 25:14

The Parable of the Talents

"Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them. To one he gave five talents of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more. So also, the one with the two talents gained two more. But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.
"After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.'
"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'

If you are interested in joining any of our Committees contact the office or email us.

CHURCH MAINTENANCE COMMITTEE
A small group of people who have expertise in the upkeep and maintenance of buildings and property. This group meets twice a year to assess and prioritize the needs of the church re: repairs and maintenance so that the Finance Committee can plan effectively. If you have the required expertise and can help us in this area, please leave your name at the Church office 273-6630.

FINANCE COMMITTEE
Responsible for the finances of the Parish, this committee analyses the monthly financial reports and makes decisions on capital expenditures. They ensure the maintenance of the church building is looked after by taking an active part in selecting competent tradespeople to accomplish necessary repairs as well as personally assisting in minor repairs. If interested, please leave your name at the parish office 905-273-6630.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
IF you are a practical Catholic man at least 18 years old, the Knights of Columbus may be just what you have been searching for. You can become as involved as you wish. Just remember that the Knights offer an opportunity for fellowship with people who share the same beliefs, and who recognize the same duty to God, community and family as yourself. Family is paramount in the Knights of Columbus; husbands, wives, children and grandchildren. All Knights of Columbus programs allow families to work together to aid their church and community while enjoying the fellowship of other families in the parish. For more information, please call Doug Meier (905)273-6630.

STs. PETER & PAUL OUTREACH MINISTRY
This new ministry group serves the needs of the parish in many ways. Our seniors are provided with transportation to Sunday 10:30 Mass from the seniors buildings in the parish. Outings for seniors are planned as well as gatherings on Thursday afternoon for games and songs in the parish hall after the 12:10 p.m. Mass. Meals are prepared and served once a month for a seniors centre in the community. This group is also involved, with assisting those in need, by providing food during the year and hampers at Christmas time. Anyone interested in joining this ministry is asked to contact them by calling 905-273-6630 x301.

ACTIVITIES FOR SENIORS
These include an Annual Retreat, day pilgrimages, and special day trips for seniors but all parishioners are invited so that seniors do not feel they are an isolated group. If interested in helping contact Vilma Prescod at 905-890-1715.

LITURGICAL

LITURGICAL DECORATORS
