MINISTERS of HOSPITALITY (USHERS) are the men/women responsible for greeting and seating people as they enter the church, taking up the Sunday offering(s) and handing out bulletins etc. after Mass. Since the value of a friendly smile to newcomers to our parish cannot be over stressed, it is important for Ministers of Hospitality to arrive at the church building early and be ready to fill in, if the ministers scheduled for a particular Mass are unable to be there. They may also be asked to minister at special services such as Confirmation and First Eucharist.
